Batflight came out of the warriors den, blinking against the harsh sunlight that met her sleepy eyes. The she-cat saw Squirrelkit sitting in camp and padded over to her. '' Hello little one. '' she meowed with a smile.

(okay) I look up and see a large cat. "Hello.." I say weakly. "who are you?"

Brindlefeather padded over to the small kit. She then looked at Batflight. "You know, she needs someone to take care of her. I would like to be that cat. I may not have any milk, but maybe with enough borage, we could make it work." she whispered to the she-cat.

Batflight smiled at the timid kit and crouched down next to her, '' I'm Batflight, I'm the deputy here. You're Squirrelkit, right? '' she meowed kindly then straightened up as Brindlefeather approached and whispered in her ear, '' Hold on one second honey. '' she meowed to the kit then turned to Brindlefeather and whispered in her ear, '' That would probably be best, I don't like the idea of kits staying in the nursery alone... We'll have to talk to Wolfstar and Doveheart. ''

( Squirrelkit, tell it from a third person point of view. Like instead of; I look up and see a big cat. Use; Squirrelkit looked up, seeing a large cat looking down at her. Do you see how much better that sounds? I'm not trying to be bossy, just helpful )

'' The deputy is second in command in the clan. When it's time for Wolfstar to join StarClan, I will become leader. '' The she-cat explained to Squirrelkit.

(kk) Squirrelkit looks up. "So who's this Wolfstar? And Starclan?" she mewed.

"WOlfstar is the leadere of the clan. He's very brave and strong and does a great job of holding the clan together." the she-cat explained patiently.

Batflight nodded in agrrement with Brindlefeather, '' Yes, and StarClan is where we go when we die. They watch us from silver-pelt, every star is one of our warrior ancestors and they guide us and protect us. '' The black she-cat licked the kit gently in between her ears, '' They'll always be with you. ''

Squirrelkit nods. "So what happens if Starclan isn't with us?"

[Ember~Rain]

Brindlefeather's gaze became more serios. "Some cats don't believe, others lose their faith in hard times. But no matter how hard life is and whether they know all of the questions to our answers or not, Starclan are always with us. I trust that you'll remember that." she meowed briskly.

Batflight chuckled to herself a bit, the young kit was full of so many questions. '' StarClan will always be there if you let them be there for you, young Squirrelkit. '' The deputy added on to Brindlefeather.
