Wolfstar purred at his apprentice. "There's no need to call me sir. Just because I'm leader doesn't mean I'm any different. Now, We'll start off with the moss rake move. Not only is it the best way to collect moss, but it can also take the breath out of your enemies. I will demonstrate." Wolfstar lifted his paw into the air and brought it down forcefully to the ground. "Now you try."

Goldenpaw nodded.
Mimicking what Wolfstar did, he lifted his paw in the air, then brought it down quickly, and forcefully, making a thump on the ground.
He looked up, to see if he had done it correctly.

Wolfstar nodded in approval. "Perfect. Now, try it on me." the large tom growled. He towered over the apprentice. "I'm invading the nursery. There are a litter of newborn kits there. I am going to kill them and you stand in my way!" Wolfstar lunged, his paw outstreched with his claws sheathed.

Goldenpaw blinked as Wolfstar came toward him. He waited, then quickly side-stepped him, and lifted his paw, as the bigger tom landed. He lifted his paw in the air, and swung it down, on Wolfstar's back.

"Good." Wolfstar huffed, withdrawling himself back to face Goldenpaw. "Now attack me. Show me what you know. We'll see if you can defeat me, though that would be amazing."

Goldenpaw thought for a split second before lunging himself at Wolfstar.
Before making contact, however, he pushed himself to his mentor's side, and kicked him with his hind legs.

Wolfstar endured the attack and rolled over underneath Goldenpaw. He battered his belly and flipped over, sending the apprentice flying.

Goldenpaw shot back up after landing, and went for Wolfstar once more, this time, heading straight for him. As his mentor prepared to bat him away, Goldenpaw dove down, straight for Wolfstar's legs, rolling away as the bigger tom fell forward. Then, he jumped up, and flung himself onto Wolfstar's back.

Wolfstar felt Goldenpaw's weight land on him and he knew with satisfaction that the apprentice was expecting him to fall to the ground. The tom rolled over, smashing Goldenpaw against the ground. Then he leapt up and pinned the cat against the ground. Then he let go and backed away. "That's enough." he panted.

Panting, the apprentice got up, and faced his mentor.
"How was that?" he asked, "Did I do alright?"

"Really?" Goldenpaw's eye went wide with excitement.
He laughed to himself over how Sprucepaw would be jealous he would be getting a bigger piece of prey. Birdpaw, too.
