Sleekmask walked up to the apprentice den and called in to her apprentice. "Gladepaw. Its time to get some training in before sun-high." She meowed with a happy voice.

Gladepaw got up slowly blinking the sleep out of her eyes. Energy started to pulse through her. Yes! Finally! Gladepaw walked out calmly of the apprentice den. "Alright Sleetmask."

"Great, I though on are first day together we could explore the territory a bit." Sleekmask smiled.

Gladepaw heart soared. I get to see the territory. Gladepaw nodded trying to hide her emotions. If she saw me being to excited I would just be acting like a kit

"I'll take that as a yes." Sleekmask purred. "So come on." She smiled trotting out of camp with her apprentice.

Gladepaw hurried to catch up, but felt her self skip towards the entrance. Feeling mouse-brained she walked behind her mentor out of camp.

"So where do you want to visit first?" She meowed looking back at Gladepaw.

Gladepaw thought then her eyes gleamed with hope. "Can I see the gorge?" She's only heard about the gorge from the tales the elders have told (if we have any XD). Ever since she was a kit Gladepaw has been itching to see it.

Gladepaw nodded obediently, but couldn't stop her legs from trembling with excitement. Just wait till I tell Sprucepaw!

I should behave myself... if Sleetmask knew I was acting like a kit she'd never trust to take me to the gorge again... Straightening her posture Gladepaw nodded to her mentor. "I'm ready."
