"Sure, Featherheart," Ashcloud meowed, getting to her paws and padding over to her. She looked back over her shoulder at Coalstorm. "Coming?"

Coalstorm laid in the middle of camp, the sun warming his black pelt. '' Yea, I'm coming. '' He yawned as he got to his paws and stretched and then padded over to the two she-cats. '' Where shall we be hunting, Featherheart? '' he asked her as he stood beside Ashcloud.
Batflight padded up to the patrol of three and touched noses with Featherheart, '' Thanks for leading this patrol, we really needed one. There are already signs of leaf-bare... '' she meowed to her friend then padded back into the camp to organize the storage of prey and more patrols.

"No problem Batflight. I just feel like its a good day for hunting."
She looked back to Ashcloud and Coalstorm.
"My instincts say we should head to the river Hunting on the way there, at the river and on the way back."

"That sounds good," Ashcloud agreed, nodding. "We should get going. We all ready?"

Coalstorm nodded, looking up at the sky. '' It's sunhigh, we should get a move on. '' he meowed.

"Lets go" She said leading the group out of camp
"Plenty of prey around." She said.
She spotted a rabbit and easily caught it along with a sparrow.

"Good catch, Featherheart!" Ashcloud purred. She scented the air and then dropped into a hunting crouch herself, sneaking across the ground towards a chaffinch.

'' Nice! '' he congratulated Featherheart then dropped into a hunting crouch himself, quickly spotting a squirrel a few tail lengths away on the root of a tree. His yellow eyes locked on the prey, the tom crept closer and closer, surprisingly quiet for a cat so big. Coalstorm took one more paw step and the squirrel began scrambling up the tree, but the warrior was to fast for it. He jumped up and knocked it to the ground with his paw and while it lay on the ground stunned, he pounced on it and delivered a swift killing blow to the neck. Thank you for this prey StarClan... Coalstorm said his silent prayer to his ancestors.

The others were startled when Ashcloud shrieked in alarm and then hissed in disgust. "Crowfood!" she spat, dragging the dead sparrow into the open. "What's it doing out here?"

"Well maybe it would explain why there's a fox!!!"
She said pointing at the fox who was just yards away.

Ashcloud hissed, her back arched and her fur fluffed up as she spun around to face the red-furred creature only a few cat-lengths away. "What do we do?" she growled to her Clanmates without turning.

'' Hm? '' Coalstorm asked, turning his head toward the two-she cats. '' Crow-food? '' The tom let out a startled yowl as he saw the fox and it wasn't that far away. '' Hurry, get it off the territory! '' he yowled to Featherheart and Ashcloud and then charged toward the fox, his fur on end so he looked even bigger than usual and his teeth bared in a vicious snarl. '' Get out of our territory! '' he growled as he rammed his broad shoulder into the fox.

"FIGHT!!!!"
She yelled as she launched an the fox attacking with every move she had.
"Oh no." she said as the fight attracted another fox.
"THERES ANOTHER ONE NOW!"
