"Hey!" he protested, cuffing the apprentice over the ear. "I'm not old! I could be your mate if I really wanted to -..." the tom cut off and he felt himself blush (if cats can blush XD). The remark he had made made him a bit self-concious. (He doesn't have a mate cuz ash is out of the picture cuz green wants to get rid of her.) "I-I didn't mean...." he trailed off and loked away, his emberessment now unmistakablely obvious.

Maplepaw stuck her tounge out when cuffed, only to feel herself burn with emberessment of her own, though not sure why. After he finished, everything was silent as a rather awkward pause dragged on. Her whiskers twitched at the silence, as her eyes darted from here to there, suddenly unsure what to look at. The apprentice gave her chest a quick lick. "Um, thanks for showing me this place Leopardfrost." She mewed, breaking the silence.

He gave her a broad smile. "Oh, it was my pleasure. I am happy to visit this place. But, don't go telling everyone in the whole camp about it." he warned her.

Maplebreeze gave a look, as if she was thinking it over. Eventually, she let out a sigh before replying. "I'll try not to, but you know us she-cats and how gossip spreads between us like a wildfire." She teased. With that being said, the she-cat squared herself up to the tom. She gave him another look, but this one was that of a predator staring down its prey. Then randomly, the tortiseshell launched herself at the warrior, claws sheathed and hoping to catch him completly off guard.

Leopardfrost had to give the she-cat credit, she did catch him off guard. He stumbled a bit as her weight landed on him. Recovering quickly, he rolled over and smashed Maplebreeze against the ground. He swiftly got up and made sure she was pinned against the ground."Not such easy prey, now, am I?"

Maplebreeze stuck out her tounge at him. "In my defence, you are the biggest prey ever." The she-cat started to thrust her weight forward, in a hopeful attempt to throw Leopardfrost off of her.

Since Leopardfrost wasn't one of those extremely muscular toms, he was easier to throw off. He fell to one side with a hmf! He watched the she-cat get up, a playful gleam in her eyes. "You really sure you want to take me on? Well, fine then. We'll see if you can take me on!" he growled. Bunching up his muscles, he lunged at her.

Well, that was easier then expected. She thought as she stood. The she-cat watched the tom get up, and was waiting for the counter attack that she knew would come. She smirked at his words, her own muscles bunching in antisipation. Insted of dodging, the warrior held her ground for a moment. Smirk still on her face, the tortiseshell shoved hard off the floor at her former mentor. So now both cats were flying at each other through the air.

Leopardfrost had a second to think before they crashed. He leaned to the left. Just as they struck, she crached into his right side. He quickly grabbed her by her scruff to make sure she didn't slam into the cave wall. "Maybe we should take this battle elsewhere." he meowed. looking at the she-cat. He purred in amusement as he saw her fur sticking up everywhichway.

Grooming her fur-for she knew full well what his amusement was-Maplebreeze nodded. "Fine by me." She mewed, shaking out her pelt. Being grabbed by the scruff like that, it felt like being a kit all over again, being hackled by her siblings. Shaking out her fur agian, the warrior darted through the water and out the side cave. Back into total darkness, the she-cat waited for Leopardfrost.

Leopardfrost crept silently, blending into the wall like a shadow. He can near to where Maplebreeze was standing. He grabbed part of an old tree root in his jaws and held the other end down with his paw. Tugging on it, the root ripped, making a snapping sound. He was playing a little game of scare.

Maplebreeze jumped a tails length in the air and spun around while a tiny squeak parted from her jaws. The she-cat stumbled back a few paces, unable to see what caused the noise in the black void surrounding her. "Leopardfrost?" Was the first thing she called. The tom was going to get it if that was him, but then again she hadnt heard or seen him follow her out. While she stood there, the warrior's mind was working a mile a minute, trying to figure out what the sound had been.

Leopardfrost smirked, but didn't feel satisfied yet. He bunched his muscles, and sprang at the she-cat's haunches. "Hehehe!!!" he laughed in a creepy voice. "Got you!"

Maplebreeze screeched as something landed on her hind quarters. She pelted forward as a voice spoke. It sounded really creepy, but it held a familier tone to it. As if her body worked against her, the she-cat found herself turning around and dealing the creature a well deserved cuff to the side of the head-claws sheathed. "Thats not funny!" She scolded the tom, knowing who it was now. The warrior sat down on the cave floor, ears shot forward. Leopardfrost wasnt going to get her like that again!

Leopardfrost rolled his eyes. The she-cat's appearance itself was a laugh. She looked as though something was going to come out and bite her. Her fur was prickled and her ears were trying to locate the source of her fear.
