Snowfur was happy to be with her mate on this lovely evening.
The moon was high and it was as if every star was in line for the two.
" What should we name the kits, I mean once we decide to have them?" She asked Coalstorm.

'' I dunno, '' Coalstorm meowed as he walked so close to his mate that their pelts were touching, '' I guess it depends on what they look like. Do you have any names in mind, Snowfur? '' he asked the white she-cat.

Coalstorm rubbed his muzzel against Snowfur's, '' That's a beautiful name Snowfur, '' he purred to the she-cat. '' If one's a tabby can we name them Stripekit? I've always liked that name... '' he meowed.

"Yes, that sounds like a nice name for a tabby. But there is the possibility that it would turn out as a spotted tabby so we just have to see." Snowfur said.
"I feel so bad for Featherheart... she was attacked by a badger in the Barren Fields and lost an eye. Maybe we should go cheer her up."

Coalstorm tensed, his face turning solemn as he thought of Featherheart. The poor thing... The tom couldn't even imagine what she could be going through. '' That's a good idea, '' the tom meowed to his mate, '' lets go. ''

The two cats walked up the river to find Featherheart staring at her reflection.
"Why me? Now I'm an ugly disgrace to the clan. Everyone covers their kits eyes and stare right at me." She said just loud enough for the two to hear.
"That's not true Feather! I'm your best friend and I can't bear to hear you say that anymore!"
She said as she sat down beside her and calmed down.
"If Brightheart can survive it, you can too." Snowfur said.

Coalstorm sat on the other side of Featherheart, pressing his pelt against her's. He rubbed his muzzle against her's, '' What you are on the outside doesn't defy you unless you let it, Featherheart. People look at me and think, ' Oh he's so big, he must be mean and ferocious! ' And some people tell me I'm one of the gentlest cats they know. '' he meowed to the mutilated she-cat, '' Snowfur and I will always be here for you, no matter what you look like. ''

Featherheart looked up at the two cats full of relief.
"Well, at least someone cares." She said to her friends.
"Not just us. The whole clan. We will always be there for you. Starclan will always be at your side." Snowfur said.
