It's not that far in the future, and science has already screwed up. Though the true cause is unknown, it doesn't seem natural. People everywhere seem to be turning up with a unique trait. They have something mixed with their human DNA that's not meant to be there. Animal DNA. So now they can morph into a specific animal that seems to be randomly chosen, or even corresponds with their personality. But if you train well enough, you can control how much you transform, ex. being grow bird wings out of your back but still look human if your animal is a bird.
Specifics are edgy, and the outside world doesn't even know of their existence. But it's getting harder and harder to conceal them, with those who can't fully control it randomly morphing out in public. But the government says they have an answer. To find them all, tag a few to keep track of, and experiment on the rest.
So who are you? Which side do you support?
