A fire, a kit and a warrior in pain

I dont wanna go through it again.
The pain, the sorrow I can't bear it again.
But I gotta help her, because you see,
Her mother, my friend, would never forgive me.
If something happen while I was there,
The pain....I just couldn't bear.



Featherheart went out for a walk when she hear the unmistakeable cries of a kit....Cloudkit.....NO!
She dashed to where she heard the sound and there she was, inclosed by a large ring of fire. Cloudkit spotted her and hid in a hopefully abandoned fox den.
Not knowing what else to do, Featherheart yelled for help.
"HELP!!!!!!!!FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!"
I can't go through the pain again.....I lost one eye from a fire, I don't wanna lose this one.
But it was her duty to help clan members no matter what and Cloudkit got out of the den to face a fox.
"STAY AWAY FROM HER!" She yowled in fury as she attacked the fox.


So here I go to fight for our lives.
If I lose mine, that'll be just fine.

Cloudkit stared in wide-eyed horror as Featherheart attacked the fox. She'd just been looking for a little fun, but then she'd run into a fire, and to get away had run into an inhabitted fox hole. Now she was watching as her Clan's deputy battled the large red beast, and a sudden urge to help washed over her. "Go away!" she squeaked determinedly, leaping forward with an infuriated his and attacking the fox's neck. Easily the fox turned it's head, bit her by the scruff and tossed her clear across the clearing where she hit a tree with a horrific thunk and fell limply to the ground. Only the minute rise and fall of her flank showed that she was even still alive.

The smell of smoke brought Fawnspeckle to the area. She saw Featherheart battling against a fox and a small walk kit in a heap against a tree. She ran towards the fox. She threw herself into the air and landed on the fox digging in her claw. "I'm here to help!" she put on a brave voice.

"Good!" She said to the warrior thankful for the help.
She clawed as much as possible before she began to wear out.
But even as tired as she was, she clawed furiously.

Snowfur was dashing around trying to find her lost kit.
Then it hit her....
Smoke.....and yowls of pain....oh no....
She ran to where the ring of fire enclosed three cats.
Featherheart....Fawnspeckle.....Cloudkit!
She dashed through the fireand she attacked with all her might.
"Here's what'cha get for messin with my kit!"

Another figure burst from the flames. Doveheart, however, did not join in the fox fight. That beast was already starting to retreat, clearly underestimating taking on three infuriated cats at once. Insted, she stood guard over Cloudkit, the flames licking at her hind quarters being ingored for the moment. The she-cat checked on the kit though unable to do much right now. She watched with growing horror as the warriors continued to attack the red furred dog. Surly they couldnt be that blind at the fact that their ring of fire was closing in on them as it was also spreading outward?
"We need to get out of here now!" The medicine cat finally yowled over the crackling flames and snarling from the fox.

( OOC: Didnt Featherheart lose her eye while fighting a badger, not in a fire...? )

"C'mon!" Fawnspeckle yelled to Featherheart over the sound of the crackling flames. Smoke filled her nostrils choking her, but she kept walking. She eventually made her way out of the flames. There was a big claw wound on her side from the fox and a burn mark on her left hind leg. She collapsed just outside of the flames.

As the fox ran away, Featherheart and Snowfur tried to get out of the ring of fire, but a tree fell and blocked the way and they were trapped.
"GET WOLFSTAR!" Featherheart yelled through the flames.

Wolfstar raced at top speeds through the forest. He was no stranger to fire... or the acred smell of smoke. "I'm coming!" he yelled, lunging forward, coming ever closer to the yowling of his clanmates. He crashed through a bush and skidded to a hault. A huge wall of fire greeted him. "Run to the Thunderpath!" he yelled.

"We're stuck!" Featherheart yelled through the flames.
"This tree is blocking us!"

"YOU HAVE TO TRY TO CLIMB IT!! THAT'S THE ONLY WAY!" he yowled, raising his voice over the flames. The fire was going to engulf the tree soon and the large tom stood helplessly in front of it.

The two cats climbed up the tree but it was catching on fire and coming toward them on both sides. Featherheart pushed Snowfur out right before the flames engulfed the tree.
The last they saw of her was her terrified face.
After the fire died down, Featherheart lay there, with her whole face burned off but she was still breathing.

"M-mommy?" Cloudkit slurred, her eyes opening slowly. All around her was a confusing mess of oranges and greys. Fire! she realized with terror. She tried to get to her paws, but couldn't manage it. Looking up, she saw that Doveheart was with her. "W-what's going on?" she squeaked, her blue eyes stretching wide in panic. She took a deep breath to try and calm herself, but only succeeded in inhaling a lot of smoke and breaking down into a coughing fit.

Fawnspeckle stood up shakily. She limped over to Cloudkit. The smoke around them made it hard for her to breathe and her back leg ached where it was burnt. "Cloudkit..." she muttered out. "We need to get back to camp!"
