Relaxing (Apprentices Reply x3)

[Ember~Rain]

Emberpaw rolled his eyes." Why do you think I'm up here? I don't want to be that mutt's next meal." he meowed, flattening his ears against his head. He was in a bad mood since his talk with Gladetail. She had never had the chance to answer because he had never given her that chance. The answer would hurt too much...

[fawn]

Whisperpaw jumped off the branch and landed next to him. She flicked his ears with her tail. "Don't be so worried. Everything will be okay." she smiled slightly. "The dog's two-leg will come and get it soon enough.

[Ember~Rain]

"You're a girl," Emberpaw meowed. "What should I do? I love Gladetail but she loves Goldenblaze! I'm torn in two because of what I want for me, and what she wants for her! I don't know what to do." he confessed.

[fawn]

Whisperpaw thought about this for a second. "Well, do you really want to be with her if she loves someone else?" she shook her head. "But if you really love her, let her pick. I'm sorry I'm not much help."

[Ink-Silent-Little]

Littlepaw nodded and jumped out of the den and into the forest. The distaint barking of a dog was unmistakable. She quickly traced the scent and hid under a bush. She gasped. Whisperpaw and Emberpaw were cornered in a tree!

[Ember~Rain]

*i wouldn't say we were cornered x3 we're havin a pretty fitfut conversation*

Emberpaw nodded, thinking about this information hard. He let out a long sigh. "But, if it is her decision, she may never decide. Then no one wins and things are no better for me." he meowed. Littlepaw raced in through the brush below the tree, right next to the dog. "Oh, dear," he muttured under his breath.

[whisper]

"Then why don't you just move on?" Whisperpaw said the statement as gentle as she could. Her gaze then traveled to Littlepaw who was in the bush below her. She sighed. Now the dog would have another target to go after. But hopefully Littlepaw would go unnoticed.

[Leaf/Frost]

Frostpaw shot off after Littlepaw. He stopped abruptly, hearing a dog.
This is exactly what I warned her for.
He hurried after Littlepaw, and found her at the bottom of a tree. Looking up into it's branches, he saw Whisperpaw, along with Emberpaw. The dog was getting closer by the second.
"Whisperpaw!"Frostpaw said.

[whisper]

"Mouse-dung!" Whisperpaw muttered under her breathe. "We're safe up here!" she yelled down to the two apprentices that were standing below them. "If you guys jump up here, you'll be safe, too!" she looked behind her to see that the dogs was only a few fox-lengths from Littlepaw and Frostpaw. "Hurry!" she shouted turning her attention back to the apprentices below her.

[Leaf/Frost]

"We're coming!" Frostpaw furled himself as far up the tree as he could, then dug his claws into the soft bark, pulling himself up as fast as he could. He came to rest on the branch next to the cats.

The dog came ever closer.

[whisper]

Whisperpaw let her fur lie flat as the other apprentices jumped up into the tree safe from the dog. Only then did she realize that the tree branch wouldn't hold up all four apprentices for much longer. Hurriedly, she jumped to another branch that was just above her head. "Another one of you might want to jump up on this branch with me or that branch might break." she quickly suggested.
The dog was at the tree then. It's forepaws pressed against the tree, trying to jump up.

[Leaf/Frost]

Hearing Whisperpaw's warning, Frostpaw jumped to a branch that looked sturdy enough to hold his weight.
"Thanks for the warning."
Suddenly the dog jumped up onto the tree, making it shake. Caught off guard, Frostpaw fell from the tree, straight onto the dog's back. The dog twisted and turned in an attempt to rid itself of it's feline hitchhiker. Frostpaw held on for dear life.
"Help me!" he yowled.

[whisper]

Whisperpaw saw her friend fall onto the dog's back. Her only thought was that she had to save him. She jumped off of the tree and landed in front of the dog. She raked her claws across it's muzzle making blood well up on it's nose. "Ha! Take that you stupid mutt!" she growled as she braced herself for an attack. She hoped that she distracted the dog enough to give Frostpaw enough time to get away.

[Ember~Rain]

Emberpaw sprang from the tree and landed on the dog's back. His extra weight caused the dog to fall. It yipped in a spike of pain as Whisperpaw clawed it's nose. "Don't mess with my friends!" he hissed in the dog's ear. The dog whimpered in return. Emberpaw bent down and bit the dog's shoulder hard. Then, pushing Frostpaw off, he leapt off the dog and it skidded away for it's twolegs. He looked at Whisperpaw with clear green eyes. "Because, I would be giving my heart away." he answered softly.

[Ink-Silent-Little]

Littlepaw gasped. A firey anger bubbled up inside her stomach, and she growled deeply at the dog. Leaping up, she clawed at the dogs eyes, then slipped under its stomach and clawed it till it rained scarlet drops apon her. She arched her back, hissing. She hoped Frostpaw would jump off while the dog was disracted by her.
