Relaxing (Apprentices Reply x3)

[fawn]

Whisperpaw wandered sleepily into the apprentice's den. The light filtered in through the big roots of the oak tree. She yawned and circled around in her nest before laying down. "I'm so bored!" she muttered out.

[Ink-Silent-Little]

Littlepaw stepped inside the den and looked at her friend Whisperpaw. She murmured, her eyes closed, "So am I... but I'm so tired from Goldenblaze's work out, I don't really care about bordism..."

[Leaf/Frost]

Frostpaw sat up, woken from his nap. He yawned.
"Yeah, I know the feeling. I think everyone does." He said quietly.

[fawn]

"C'mon, guys." Whisperpaw murmured sitting up. "Let's go out on an adventure!"

[Leaf/Frost]

Frostpaw jumped at the idea of an adventure. He was excited at first, but then as he thought about it, it seemed a bit too dangerous for apprentices to be taking on.
Aren't adventures usually done by the warriors? If they go through with this, they could end up being seriously hurt, or worse, dead! I have to stop them, but how? I don't want them to think I'm a coward if I stay behind, and I could die if I go with them!
"Umm..." Frostpaw shuffled his paws nervously. He never had been good at socializing. His blinked, and tried to hide his uneasiness. He looked around, tension building in his throat. "I-I really don't think that's a good idea...."

[fawn]

Whisperpaw walked up to the frightened tom and flicked her tail at his ears. "Don't be scared, we won't do anything dangerous!" she purred and sat down next to him. "It won't be any fun without you there!"

[Leaf/Frost]

Frostpaw wasn't convinced. "I'm not scared, I'm nervous! There's a difference! Besides, what would we do, even if we went on an adventure? We shouldn't worry all the warriors if we don't know what we're doing! We're just apprentices, for crying out loud! We could be killed! Do you want to end up like Batflight, Ashcloud, and Brindlefeather?" He sat down hard. "I'm not going to move from this spot until you give me a good reason as to why I should even consider this idea."

[fawn]

Whisperpaw rolled her eyes and stood up. "Then stay here! Be bored and lonely!" she began to walk out of the apprentice's den. "If no one will go with me, then I'll just go by myself!"

[Leaf/Frost]

"Don't. I couldn't care less if you want to leave me behind, but I wouldn't feel right if you died and I didn't do my best to stop you." Frostpaw stood up, his multicolored eyes glinting. "If you really want to go, then go. Just remember, once you leave the camp, you're on your own. I won't come chasing after you if you stay too long, although I might tell a warrior so that they can take care of it." He sat back down. "Heck, I might go tell a warrior right after you leave camp. You're playing a dangerous game, a game that in which you have only the slimmest chance of winning. Think about it. If you think you can pull it off, go ahead. I won't stop you directly, though someone else might with a little coaxing from me."

[fawn]

Whisperpaw stopped in her tracks and glared at him. "What if I actually wanted you to go would you go then? I wanted to become friends with you because you always seem so lonely. But, noooooooo! You always have to spoil everything because you to good for the rest of us, isn't that right?" she huffed and stormed the rest of the way out of the apprentice's den.

[Ink-Silent-Little]

Littlepaw felt her ears get hot as she heard Frostpaw awaken. After the argument with Whisperpaw, she looked back at him and meowed "Not that I want to be killed or anything...but don't you think we should go after her? I mean, I heared what you said, but she is my friend..." her green eyes were both concerned and slightly frightened.

[Leaf/Frost]

Frostpaw was taken aback. He hadn't realized that he had sounded so harsh. He never meant to hurt Whisperpaw. He certainly didn't think he was better than her. He felt himself got hot out of embarrassment.
"Yeah, I-I got ahead of myself. I never meant to hurt her." He thought about Littlepaw's question. "You're right. We should go after her. If she got hurt, I would feel responsible for it. She doesn't deserve it." Frostpaw got to his feet, head held high. "Come on! We have to find her! Do you have any idea where she might be headed?"

[fawn]

Whisperpaw jumped into a tree. She sighed as she curled in the corner of a branch. "All I wanted to do was have a little fun, but nooooo I can't even do that!" she grumbled as she closed her eyes. Then she heard the distant barking of a dog and she started to get scared. She sat up and started shaking. The barking got closer and so she scrambled farther up the tree. "Now I'm wishing I didn't leave at all." she murmured quietly to himself.

[Ember~Rain]

Emberpaw's ears worked as sonars, tracking all the prey in the area. He licked his muzzle. The smell of mouse hung heavy in the air. It vanished and distant barking erupted. Out of no where, a huge brown dog burst from the undergrowth. Emberpaw's eyes grew wide and he sprinted up the nearest tree. He sat down and breathed a sigh of relief. He squirmed in uncomfort. The tree was uncomfortable... and furry! He spun around, realizing his mistake and kicked Whisperpaw in the face. "Oh, sorry! Sorry!"

[fawn]

Whisperpaw grumbled when the orange tom jumped on top of her. When he got off she jumped on to the branch above her. "It's fine, it's fine!" she mumbled as she got comfortable on the new branch. "So what brings you to this lovely branch of the tree?" The dog was below the tree braking as it tried to get up, but the two cats were high enough to where the dog couldn't reach.
