Apprentice Time

Wolfstar leapt up on top of the Shining Rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join beneath the Shining Rock for a clan meeting!" he called. He curled his tail neatly around his paws as he waited for his clan to gather

Seeing that every cat was there, he began. "One kit has finally reached six moons and it is time that they are apprenticed." Wolfstar beckoned to Sagekit with his tail. "Until she has earned her warrior name, this cat will be known as Sagepaw. Greenlily, you are ready for an apprentice, please lend to her your thoughtfulness and skill." Wolfstar jumped down from the Shining Rock as cats began chanting her name. "Sagepaw, Sagepaw!"

[Roseflight~Stonepaw]

"Sagepaw! Sagepaw!" The Medicine Cat apprentice chanted with her clan, pride for the new apprentice swelling. Roseflight made her way forward, wishing to be one of the first to personally congratulate her, despite the swarming clan already. So the she-cat took a small step back, and let her soak in the praise the rest of the clan gave. Still smiling, she imply waited, knowing she would have time to say her words to Sageki-paw soon enough.

'' Sagepaw! Sagepaw! '' Coalstorm chanted with the rest of his clan, happy for the young she-cat and her new mentor. It was about time Greenlily got an apprentice.

Greenlily smiled and went over to touch noses with her new apprentice. "I'll teach you everything I know, Sagepaw," she mewed kindly.

Sagepaw smiled brightly to everyone thinking her. "Thank you." She purred to everyone then walked over to Greenlily. "This is going to be fun." She meowed to her new mentor then looked over at Roseflight and smiled.

[Squirrelshadow]

Squirrelpaw pads up and yowls, "SAGEPAW! SAGEPAW!"
