Birds of Prey Get Hunted

Hiddenpaw shook her head. "Its nothing," she lied. 'What am i doing!? I'm lying to my mentor...And leader!'

Wolfstar knew that that wasn't true. "He nudged her shoulder gently. "Come on, you can tell me. I'm your leader. Starclan didn't give me these nine lives so I could be selfish and nonsympathetic, you know." he meowed softly.

[Hiddenpaw]

Hiddenpaw shook her head again. "I don't want you to be selfish and unsympathetic, its just...its nothing." She laid down and rested her head on her paws. 'StarClan cant help me...i know they cant...'

Wolfstar's eyes turned to steel. "Hiddenpaw, if you don't tell someone, things will only get worse." he meowed, concern filling in his eyes.

[Hiddenpaw]

Hiddenpaw glared at him. "I don't care if things get worse. Things couldn't get any worse for me, Wolfstar." Her eyes hardened to ice. She bared her teeth in warning at the tom. "I don't care what happens to me, no one does. So why should i care if no one else does? What is there to be accomplished if i feel only hate and fear?"

Wolfstar wasn't easy to intimidate. "Hiddenpaw, that's not true. Every member of this clan cares about each other. With each breath you take, so do they. If one stops breathing, then the whole clan falls out. You are just as important as anyone else and many cats care about you." he growled angrily at his apprentice.

[Hiddenpaw]

Hiddenpaw bristled. "Don't talk to me like that! You're not my mother!" she snarled. 'why can't he just drop it!?' she thought angrily.

"Of course I'm not your mother. I'm your leader. I just want to help you and cheer you up." Wolfstar whispered, his eyes like raging fire.

[Hiddenpaw]

"I don't need your help! I don't need anyone's help!" she snapped. She turned away and walked towards the camp. Her dark thoughts returned to her again. All of her anger was finally released, but it was at her leader. Everything that was hidden from the Clan was launched at herself and her thoughts, but she had released some of her anger at her leader. Was she a bad cat? Was Wolfstar going to send her away? <em>Wolfstar wouldn't do that...he just wouldnt...

Wolfstar let the apprentice walk away, a sad and puzzled expression written on his face. He didn't understand her problem, and wasn't sure he wanted to. He didn't follow her. Maybe she just needed some time alone.

Hiddenpaw paused before she stepped off of the Barren Fields. She turned her head to her mentor. "I'm sorry," she murmured, before walking towards the end of SunClan territory.

A little way away a cats screech could be herd and a hawk pelting down.
Snowfur cried out as loud as she could.
"HELP!! IM STUCK!"

Woolfstar turned to see Snowfur struggling to move as the hawk bore down on her. Wolfstar lunged at the large bird, making it crash into the ground sideways. There was a fatal snap of one of it's wings. He bore down on the bird and kiiled it with a deep, satisfying bite. "What were you thinking, Snowfur?" he growled.

Hiddenpaw's head turned and saw her leader pinning a bird to the ground. "But...he said...no hunting birds...," she murmured. She narrowed her eyes in anger. "Liar..." She then looked at the other cat. "Oh...Snowfur..."

"Oh so you think I asked for my paw to get stuck while I took a break? I can't stand the nursery anymore. The kits are to old to be rough housing in there. There's no space! As for the bird I didn't even notice it until you attacked it!"
