Wolfstar's neck fur bristled. "And you think that's enough? You could've been killed! And if you can't stand being in the nursery, send the kits out! Besides, if you can't stand the nursery, why did you have kits in the first place?" he questioned her coldly. He ment every word of it. She could have died and then their kits would've been malnutritioned. Without healthy kits, the clan would suffer.

"Why? I feel in love! I have always wanted a life where everything was fine, with my mate by my side and now I get in trouble for taking a short break?I had thought that of anyone you would know what its like to have something make you just want to get away from it for a bit, take a break, you being the clan leader and all. But clearly I was wrong." She said to him with a tear running down her face. She turned her back on him and began to walk away before he stepped in front of her and blocked her from going anywhere. "What do you want?"

"You to understand." he growled. "You may think that I am being rude and heartless, but I'm speaking the truth. Sometimes there are those kits who never should've been born, and no, I am not implying that about yours." He added more gently, "You should be more concerned for your safety. You would have been a great loss to the clan, and so soon after the death of three other cats. The clan would've taken the blow hard. I don't know what else to say." Wolfstar stared at the she-cat's blue eyes, redness welling up from underneath them from crying.

"I don't think your heartless. I know it." She said coldly. "And I know which kits or rather, kit you're referring to." She spat.

Wolfstar was shocked by what she had daid to him. He was heartless? And what kit was she referring to? "What are you talking about? Exatly what kit are you referring to?" he meowed, looking confused. He felt his fur ruffle at the idea. Could she mean....Spruceburn? Maybe they hadn't gotten along before, but they were doing fine now.

"You may be getting along now, but we all know you hate Spruceburn." She said as she walked away and climbed a tree to just lay on the branch. Snowfur just lay there, concentrating deep in thought. Then she began to sob.

Wolfstar was shocked at what the she-cat said. "That isn't true! And it never was. Although Spruceburn was a pain in my ass, I have always loved him. I have never regretted having my kits! They are strong, brave, and just great overall!" he spat fiercely at the she-cat. Snowfur climbed up the tree and began to cry. Wolfstar wouldn't stand this. He easily climbed the tree, his muscles rippling through his pelt on the way up. He stood on the branch next to her. "Now tell me what is really bothering you?"

(warning more drama ahead)
Snowfur looked up with eyes red from crying, stood up and jumped to the next tree and the next as if it were nothing. Then, on a far away tree, she fell with a sickening thud.

Wolfstar immediately followed the she-cat, tree after tree, until she tried to make a larger jump. She missed and landed on the ground with a thud. He jumped down from the tree and ran to her side. "Snowfur?" he whispered, waiting for a response. His eyes scaled the she-cat's body, searching for any signs of life.

Snowfur still lay motionless and was now laying in a small puddle of blood, growing larger.

A calm aura surrounded Wolfstar, his eyes glowed green, and his paws seemed to move themselves. They led him to a large spiderweb in a bush and he wrapped it carefully around his paw. He grabbed a spiky green leaf on the way back to Snowfur. His paws worked quickly as he pressed the webbing against the she-cat's skull to stop bleeding. He wrapped the webs around her head right after placing the leaf on the wound. He blinked a few times and looked around. Then remembering Snowfur, he looked down at her. Half of her head was wrapped and her breath was shallow. He sent a small prayer to Starclan and rushed to get water. He grabbed a pile of moss in his jaws and headed for the river. It was on the other side of the territory, though, worrying Wolfstar. He had to hurry. He came back about an hour later to see her breath a bit stronger, but more shallow. He propped her up on her stomach and lifted her head, squeezing the water droplets into her mouth. He rubbed her thoat to get her to swallow. He looked around then, struggling to remember what else he could do. But as Doveheart would say, It's in the paws of Starclan...

Snowfur lifted up her head and looked around to see where she was and looked up at Wolfstar. "Wha- What happened? Oh.........my head hurts so bad." She said as she laid it back down.

Wolfstar felt a flicker of relief when Smowfur lifted her head. "Oh, yes. Don't get up. though. You fell out of a tree and could've died from your injuries. Try to be careful. It's bad enough that Coalstorm is gonna freak when he sees you." he meowed, grimacing.

"Who? I don't know anyone by that name....who are you?" She said with a confused look.

Wolfstar cocked his head as the she-cat responded in confusion. "Snowfur, are you ok?" he murmured, looking at her. "Coalstorm is your mate. I'm Wolfstar, your leader, remember? We'd better get you back to camp so your kits can have their mother's milk." he meowed, acting as though Snowfur was joking, even though he was taking the matter seriously.
