Wolfstar leapt up on top of the Shining Rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join beneath the Shining Rock for a clan meeting!" he called. He sat down on the Shining Rock and waited for his clan to gather
Seeing that every cat was there, he began. "I have two ceremonies to perform. First off, a kit has reached six moons of age. Ghostkit is ready to be an apprentice. Gladetail, you are ready for your first apprentice. Train him well." Wolfstar watched the mentor touch noses with her new apprentice.
"Emberpaw, you are ready to become a warrior. Emberpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend the clan even at the cost of your life?" the apprentice meowed a solemn "I do." "Very well. From this moment on, you will be known as Emberflash."Wolfstar jumed down from the rock and rested his muzzle on his head, and he gave him a quick lick on his shoulder in return. Before cats began to call his name, he meowed, " You will sit a silent vigil tonight and your duties start tomorrow."
