The Squirrel :open:

[Wolfy//June]

Leopardfrost stalked under a few short trees. All he could hear was Crack! Crunch! Crack! All he could see was the plump gray animal with a tail of pure fuzz. This squirrel was so juicy, so...so fat! He just had to catch it! He slithered forward, step by step, until he could nearly taste it's warm body crunching softly between his teeth.

Leopardfrost shook his head. He needed to concentrate. He wriggled his hind quarters and sprang at the squirrel, his claws unsheathed. He landed with a soft thump. The squirrel was gone. He turned his head in search of his prey and saw the fluffy gray tail flagging away. "Oh, no you don't!" he growled, racing after his prey.

Featherheart popped out of the bushes and ran after squirrel with him.
"Oh hi to you" She said to Leopardfrost. She ran after the squiirel who seemed to be able to go on and on.
"This squirrel is so fast!"

While Featherheart raced after the squirrel from behind, Leopardfrost jumped through a set of bushes and short-cutted to get in front. He landed in front of it, or he thought he did. He felt a massive pain in his rear. All of the sudden, he leapt many feel in the air. "YOWOW!" he yelped. He looked down at the ground and saw a pine cone. He cursed under his breath. "That mangy crow-food eating..." he grumbled, taking a moment to lick his ruffled fur. He jumped to his feet and took off again.

[Furyclaw]

Furyclaw watched from the bushes watching the two cats chase after the squirrel. These are warriors? SHe flicked her tail. The she-cat fliched at the yowl coming from one of the cats. "Are these cats playing with their food?... that's not of the warrior code" Furyclaw quietly mummbled to herself.

[Wolfy//June]

Leopardfrost skidded to a hault, hearing a whisper came from the bushes not too far away. He pushed the brush away to reveal a gray she-cat. He was surprised for the fact that she had been spotted on the territory before. "What did you say?" he growled.

[Furyclaw]

"Temper?" She stood streching out her limbs. "I said you're playing with your food" Clearly, she had no fearin her. "Come on, with squirrels you must know to act quickly?" she cocked her to to the side before leaping around the top. She flicked her tail as if saying you sure you're a warrior? Though with her remoark she had that same serious face on.

"How dare you insult the cats of clan that brought you into it when you had no home."
Feaherheart yowled.
"Especially when you said it to the deputy, who can easily let Wolfstar know."

[Furyclaw]

"insult? deputy? Despite him being the deputy what happened was not proper Im not trying to insult him or any of that matter, but tellling of what lay infront, I only chose to stay for the ones actually needed my help, this feels like no home of that matter, so many cats and their tempers, you'd think I was trying to take over clan, well I'm not, I have no need for that, foolish" the she-cat spat. Her white pelt turned to stalk away, irritation flooding off of her in waves.

Leopardfrost bristled. "I wasn't playing with my food. I am a seinor warrior and would never[/i] as low as to forget all maners and obedience. Only scum such as yourself sink that low. It's called a rascally squirrel that is impossible to catch!" he spat.

[Furyclaw]

Furyclaw sighed. Her muscles stiffen at the sound of his words. He's right... what have I become..., she thought to herself before taking off in a run, not saying a word. Her tail whirled behind at her speed. Her mind filled with thoughts the she-cat didn't pay attention, the white cat slid on a scrap of moss only to uncontrolably smack into a tree. Wobbly, the warrior got to her paws shaking her pelt. "Uh, who am I to talk?" she remarked to herself. The cat gave up falling to the ground where she stood. It didn't use to be this way, she se to be one of the most cheerful cats around.

Leopardfrost shook his head in frustration. He had definately lost the squirrel. The squirrel which would've fed Snowfur and all the kits. It would've fed all the apprentices. It could've fed so many cats, but he didn't catch it. Guilt flushed through him as his stomach growled. Food was getting scarse and they needed to fatten up on what they could find before only scrawny prey was left. Maybe that wasn't the only reason to be guilty. He let out a weary sigh. Sometimes, he didn't like doing the right thing.

He jumped to his paws and padded off in the direction the loner had gone. Her scent lingered and steadily grew stronger. He stopped for a moment to drink in the air. Musky wood scents surrounded him and he felt safe and comforted. This would always be his home. No matter if it was the middle of Leaf-Bare or Green-Leaf, nothing would ever truely change. He tilted his head back down to face in front of him. He pushed back a set of bushes and a tall tree lay in his path. He turned left and saw the gray/ white she-cat lying on the ground, staring hopelessly at the sky. "Sorry for being rude. I really didn't mean it. I was just really ticked off at that squirrel. Hi, I'm Leopardfrost. You need help getting up?" he asked her politely.

Furyclaw looked over at the cat, her eyes were dim. She braced ehr legs into the groun and hauled her self up. "No, I-I'm sorry, it seems as though I've not been to kind myself to anyone" Furyclaw took a deep breathe. "Just not the same as it use to be, sorry about the squirrel too" the she-cat dipped her head in apology.

Leopardfrost shrugged. "Eh, we wouldn't have caught it anyways. It was too fast and clever." he meowed honestly. The wind began to pick up, swirling the leaves up off the crond and into his face. He didn't flinch, but he spat them out and shook his pelt clear. "I should be getting back to camp. I think a storm's coming. If you have nowhere else you be, I suppose you can come too." he meowed, turning around and preparing to leave.

Furystar looked at the warrior. The sight of the leaves pelting his face made her mrow with amusement. Though when he spoke, the sh-cat blinked in surprised. Her once fiery blue softened a little. "Sure, thanks" her white pelt began padding along behind him, Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all... Furyclaw stumbled over a stone she didn't see but quickly regained her balance. "Hehehe" was all that camout of her nervous expression. "Oops"
