Roseflight Sat on the edge again, like she did often. A small breeze wafted by, bringing along the soothing scents of various plants and herbs. Just the thought of them comforted her. Even though she still wished to be a warrior, being a medicine cat has become her life so much that she couldn't leave it. But that was life, and she would deal. The young she-cat looked over the cliff, gazing down, her eyes swimming with thoughts. Her and Doveheart would have to collect more herbs soon to stock up for Leaf-bare, although there was still sometime. "MAybe not. . ." she spoke quietly suddenly, feeling the cold nip in the air, sure signs of the oncoming cold.

Silentpaw quietly padded up to her and sat down, fluffing up his fur agenst the cold wind. His amber eyes were emotionless as he looked up at her, "Somthing wrong?" he asked, suddenly somwhat concerned. He flicked his ears and looked away again, "Its ok if you don't want to talk about it..."

Roseflight jumped slightly, surprised someone had aproached her. Glancing to the side, she saw is was Silentpaw, even though she could smell him once he sat. The wind blew the other way, easily carrying her sent and masking his. The she-cat mentally scolded herself for not remember that rule, knowing it was important when it came to many warrior duties. Giving a small sigh, she gazed out, feeling the wind pass through her pelt. "I'm just worried about the on-coming leaf-bare. . . I need to gather more herbs, and I'm not sure how much longer we have before the first snow-fall," she admitted, glancing at the apprentice.

Silentpaw flicked his ears in ackknowlegment and looked over at her, his dark amber eyes calm like a ginger leaf floating on a stream, "I know how you feel... I can sense it in the wind. This will be a harsh leaf-bare... Perhaps we can ask the clan to help" he looked ack down at the gorge again, laying down and tucking his black paws under his chest.

"Yes, but they still need to stock up on fresh-kill too. . . Maybe I can pull a few apprentices out for a day or two. Would you be willing to miss a training session to help look for herbs?" She remained sitting, and glanced down at Silentpaw. He seemed calm and well- quiet, much like his name. No doubt he would be a respected warrior one day. Or was Roseflight just day-dreaming about warrior duties again? Hoping that others could accel where she lacked.

Silentpaw gave a small smile at her, "Sure, I'll help. I'll try to get Whisperpaw and Frostpaw to help, too, if its ok with their mentors. Speaking of which, we should probobly ask Featherheart if I can, or is it a secret" a small, light, short purr escaped his throught, and he looked back across the gorge.

She smiled at the mall joke.Eerything had en so serious as of late, it was almost like the entire clan had fogotten how to have fun, other than the kits. "That would be great. I'm sure Featherheart will undertand. Thanks for offering your help." Rosflight looked to th sky, seeing a flock of birdsly overhead. 'So free, those lucky birds.' she thougt, watching them until they disapeared from sight.
