A boney cat sat on a rock. He blended in perfectly with the rock and the night around him. He lost track of how long he had been waiting when a rabbit hopped by. It was completely oblivious to the loner. Most cats would have leaped and killed it right then, but Shatter waited. It hopped closer. Closer. Closer. Right when it got within his reach the black cat shot out a paw, hooked his claws into the rabbits shoulders and pulled it in close. He shivered with delight at the smell of its fear. With a flash of his unusualy sharp teeth he tore open the small animal's throat.
"I need these cats to know im here..." He muttered to himself. "I need them to know what they are dealing with..." He swiftly cut open the rabbits stomach and began dragging it tword the Sunclan camp, its entrails leaving a bloody trail in his wake.

"What the hell do you think your doing with that rabbit"Ghostpaw growled.This cat was boney almost like he was hungry but he ripped its guts out like it was for fun, I had to do something.Wasting fresh-kill was wrong.

Shatter slowly put the rabbit down and turned tword the aprentice. "What am I doing with the rabbit you ask?" He had a raspy, whispery voice. Like he hadn't spoken in moons. "I simply was going to leave it outside the Sunclan camp, as a message of their doom to come!" He took a step tword the aprentice. Then another. Until he was towering over him. "I have been watching the clan Ghostpaw!" He hissed, with an evil, mocking voice. "But since you showed up, I could make you a walking example of why they should fear me!" One word could sum up how this cat sounded. Evil.

He knocked the cat down from under his feet"How about I kick your ass and you leave"I meowed challengly.He clawed me across the face.Okay, now its a fight.

"You have guts! Too bad im going to have to rip them out of you!" Shatter growled. He raised a paw and smashed Ghostpaw accross the face. "What makes you think you can beat me? I have killed off entire clans without lifting a claw! You cant stop me!" Shatter was demoralizing the aprentice. He was doing what he did best. Envoke terror, and cause his foe to lose hope.

"Heh, you think that that will strike me with terror.I've went up against the clan leader before as a kit, your nothing"I screamed as I lunged at him.He dodged and clawed him across the side.He let out a wail of pain and....laughter.He has some problems.I was thinking to much I was cought off guard as he pinned me down and set his claws down by my throat.He started to dig down in my flesh.Then I saw his tail and slashed for it ripping a peice of the tip off he jumped off and ran."I'll be back a Ghostpaw, and when I do i'll gut you like a fish"he said laughing as he ran off.I was bleeding bad from my neck.I ran back to Sunclan camp for treatment.
