Something Strange

[Ember~Rain]

Emberflash and his friends walked softly through the forest, listening to the strange silence. Not one twig snapped, not a bird whistled. Something was wrong. The forest should not be this silent, he thought.

An odd smell aroused Emberflash and he turned sharply, a thorn slicing his leg in the process. Ignoring the scratch, he pushed through the bushes and saw something lying on the ground. He rushed over to it and found that it was in fact a bird. It smelled of twoleg rubbish.

"Something is really wrong..." he muttered.

[Ghostpaw]

Ghostpaw was walking down a dirt path when he smelled a strange scent and saw Whisperpaw there also.The slash on his throat oozed of blood a little.He walked up to them"What the heck is that"he asked.

[whisper]

Whisperpaw wrinkled her nose in disgust as she came up behind Emberflash. "I don't know..." she mewed thoughtfully. She unsheathed her claws and poked at it. "It's disgusting!" she screeched loudly backing up behind the other two cats.

[Ember~Rain]

Emberpaw rolled his eyes. "Don't poke it! You could get an infection, you especially, Ghostpaw. With that nasty cut you have, you could get infected if you get too close." he warned. The bird had attracted large flies. "Hmm... I wonder...." he murmured.

[Ghostpaw]

"heh, cut some slack.I don't think a.....whatever it is will kill me"I meowed.I wonder as well, he got a leaf and let his blood drip on it then spilled it on the horrible thing.After a few minute the blood turned yellowish green."Holy crap, now that is weird"he yelled.

[Squirrelshadow]

Squirrelpaw pads up clearly still half asleep. She flicks her tail in greeting. "Hi what are you" she yawned "doing?" (I don't think cats say "holy crap X))
