A nice walk down the river.[OPEN]

Weeping did what he always did before going to the warehouse to sleep, a nice walk down the river, But today was a special day. This is the anniversary of when his father died. Weeping stopped walking and looked in the river. He leaned over and saw himself, only he was smaller. A very old tom walked up to him.
"What are you looking at Weepy?" Weepy quickly shot around him but nothing was there, nothing made a noise, *But i know i heard something..* He looked back into the water and heard his voice, only younger.
"I'm looking at that fish grandpa!" Tears suddenly rushed toward Weepy's eyes and tears fell in the water, the ripples made the cats disappear.
"NO! Please come back...i miss you so much dad.." Weepy sobbed
"Well you wont have to miss him any more." Weepy shot around to see two large rouges getting ready for the kill.

Snowfur jumped out of the bushes and attacked the two rogues about to attack the kit.
"Take this you big morons!"
She said as she lashed and clawed.

Topaz followed Adder along the river, her black fur prickling uneasily. She wished that the band of rogues had never come to her barn, that they'd never decided to stay there until they'd found the cat they were looking for. She couldn't understand the way they functioned. The rogues, while they lived together, seemed to be in some sort of civil war. Each one wanted to be leader, and from what she could gather from their talks was that there was a certain tom they felt had to be killed. Apparently, whoever killed him would become leader.

When they'd come to her barn, she'd been foolish enough to allow them to stay the night, expecting that they'd be gone in the morning. She'd been sorely mistaken. The next morning she'd woken up to find the rogues' scent-markers covering all of her own; they'd collected a pile of her prey in one corner, as if they planned to be feeding off it for a while now. And worst of all, they'd forced her to choose between joining them or dying. She'd been so afraid of them that she'd agreed to join them before she even registered what had happened.

Now she and one of the meanest of the band of rogues--and one of the most likely candidates to become leader--were out here in SunClan territory searching for the tom they wanted dead. She'd never felt so terrible. She didn't want to help kill a cat that hadn't done anything but run away so that they could be safe! She sniffed the air timidly, and her stomach dropped when she caught the scent of a cat nearby.

"Just our luck!" Adder growled vindictively, dropping into a crouch. Topaz sucked in a breath when she saw that the cat that Adder was locking in on.

"He's a kit!" she hissed. "You're out here to murder a kit?!"

"NO! Please come back... I miss you so much, dad..." the kit wailed suddenly.

"Well, you won't have to miss him any more," Adder spat, taking a menacing step forward as he prepared to lunge at the kit. Before Topaz could do or say anything to stop Adder, a flash of white fur bowled into her, knocking her to the ground and slashing her flesh with sharp claws. She yowled in pain and struggled to try and get out from under the other she-cat in hopes of reaching Adder before he could spring.

Snowfur looked at the face of the cat she was attacking and knew the cat only did this by force.
She got off, and nodded to the she-cat as if to say Kill him before the kit is harmed, I'll protect you both.
She jumped onto the tom along side the rogue and they attacked furiously and both pinned him down.

Topaz was glad when the white she-cat released her. Together, the two of them pounced on Adder from behind. Topaz knew how strong he was, and she hoped that the two of them would be able to hold him. Sadly, her hopes were dashed when he managed to fling them off his back. Topaz hid the ground in a muddled heap, winded.

Adder spun around and clawed the white she-cat's hind legs, keeping her where she was. By the time Topaz had managed to regain her breath, he was satisfied that the one she-cat's legs were too scratched up for her to move and he turned to the other. He slashed Topaz's flank with his razor claws, and she yowled in pain.

"I shall deal with you when I am leader," he hissed. "You shall be punished... severely." Fear shot through Topaz's entire body, and she shuddered as he turned his murderous gaze back onto the kit. Topaz was vexed to find that the young tom hadn't run off by now, but the frustration was washed away by horror when Adder pounced at him.

Weepingkit stood there in shock, he had never thought this day would come. There jumping at him was the biggest cat in the army, and he was helpless. Adder jumped on him pinning the young tom down.
"This is for 5 Moon's listening to your son of a ***** father, and two moons tracking you down!" Adder came in for a death bite but weepy moved his head.
"Not today Adder!" using all the strength he could muster, broke free and broke free of Adder's grip. When the large tom was shocked from weepy strength Weeping ran full speed and jumped into the cold, dark, river.

Adder was there growling getting ready to lunge into the river ehrn Snowfur jumped at him.
"Not today, Adder."
She said as she lunged and slashed his neck open, leaving him to lay there, dead.
She jumped in the river to retrieve Weepy and dragged him ashore.
"You okay kid?"

[Weepingkit]

Weepy had his eyes shut and oped them seeing the warm eyes of Snowfur, he coughed up some water than nodded to Snowfur and buried his head in her fur and started to sob.
"Why did they all have to go, my friends, everybody I loved?" Weepy continued to sob.

"Don't worry, I lost my parents as a kit. In fact, recently, I lost my own kit.
But now I know the meaning of love. If you want, I can take you back to Sunclan with me.
My kits are your age and would love to have a brother to fill in for the missing one."
Snowfur said, gazing down at him with all the love in the world.

Weeping stops sobbing and backs up with a look of horror on his face,
"I will keep my freedom!" Weeping turns, gets a running start and jumps across the river into moonclan territory back to his warehouse.

Snowfur stayed where she was.
"What did I say?" She yelled out to him.

[Greenlily//Topaz]

"I don't think it was something you said," Topaz mewed, limping over to the other she-cat. "From what I heard from the rogues, Weeping ran away from them because, after his father died, the rogues had decided he was too young to lead them, and declared that whoever killed him would be the new leader." The black she-cat cringed and began rasping her tongue over the slash down her side, then glanced over at Adder's dead body.

"Explaining that to the rest of them ought to be fun," she sighed, shaking her head. "They'll probably cut back the amount of fresh-kill I can eat again... I mean, I was with him and he died." Realizing that she sounded rather accusing, she looked back up at Snowfur and frowned. "Sorry, I didn't mean to whine. It's just that they've been rationing the prey I've been able to eat on my territroy. I'm lucky if I get one mouse a day, let alone more than that, and I get grumpy when I'm hungry. Anyway, I'm actually glad you killed him."

Topaz padded over to Adder's limp form and began dragging him across the ground, back in the direction of her barn. She stopped and turned to Snowfur again. "Thank you," she mewed earnestly. "I'm glad I didn't have to suffer having a kit's blood on my paws."

"Well, hey if you want, we have plenty of food to spare in Sunclan. Unless you like your freedom, like Weepingkit."
She said to the she cat.
"Just a few responsibilities here and there but the rewards are great. Look at me, I have my own family in one big family.
Plus the other rogues can just assumed you both died and they'll never know."
Snowfur said, then glanced at the rogues side.
"We also have a cat that would be glad to help with both of our injuries."

Topaz smiled at the offer, but shook her head, a little sadly. "If I don't return with Adder's body, his supporters will come looking for him, and then you'll have a full out invasion on your hands. I don't want to cause trouble for you Clan. Sure, it would be easier to seek refuge among you, but I don't want to be a hinderdance. Even if I did say yes, I'd only stay until the rogues left my territory." She looked down at Adder's body and sighed, shaking her head again, this time as if to convince herself she was right. "Running to your Clan, while easier and safer, would seem like giving up to the rogues. They'd see me as a pest that knew too much, and then I'd be on the run just as Weepingkit is."
