Goldenpaw's ceremony

[Goldenblaze]

Goldenblaze purred at Rosepaw's insistence.

"I was kidding, you furball. Thank you, by the way," he rubbed against her pelt, "Need any help?"

[Roseflight~Stonepaw]

Honestly, Rosepaw wanted a little time alone to think, and Goldenblaze would probably mix a few things up. But she wouldn't object.
"If you want to. There isn't all to much to do though." she said, padding into the den, letting her friend decide for himself whether to enter or not.

Goldenblaze padded in after her, standing back, waiting for her to tell him to do something.

She looked around, seeing what neededto be done. Rosepaw hd been right, there wasnt all to much to do.
"Just make sure all the herbs aren't mixed and are seperated from other types. If any bits smell different from the rest of the group, put them in a seperate pile so we can throw them out." she said simply, before starting.

[Goldenblaze]

Goldenblaze nodded and did as she said.

[Spruceburn]

Sprucepaw grabbed a plump thrush from the fresh-kill pile and then sat down next to Birdpaw, his whiskers twitching in amusement as he saw her move closer to him. He bit into his thrush hungrily while Birdpaw invited him to go hunting. '' I would love to Birdpaw, but you see... Wolfstar lifted my punishment of being stuck in camp and then we got in another fight... so I um... don't know if it's back on... '' Sprucepaw meowed, a bit embarrassed. How stupid would he sound if he didn't even know if he could leave camp! '' But if I can't, '' he leaned in closer to Birdpaw, '' I can sneak out, you know. '' he meowed with a devious smile. Suddenly his ears angled toward to conversation that Goldenblaze and Gladepaw were having and he picked up on their obvious flirting. That's my sister! Sprucepaw thought angrily to himself but before he could say anything Goldenblaze got up and walked over to Rosepaw.

[Gladetail]

Gladepaw's ears twitched as she felt someone staring at her. She turned to see Sprucepaw and Birdpaw sitting close together. Gladepaw purred out of amusement. An obvious couple.

[Birdsong]

Birdpaw felt a shiver of excitement. Sprucepaw was willing to sneak out of camp, just to go hunting with her. Then again, she didn't want him to get in trouble. What if he was only planning to sneak out to cause trouble for his father? Her spirits fell sligthtly. Oh, pull yourself together, Birdpaw! she thought angrily, Why do you suddenly care so much why he'd be leaving camp? She went back to her meal and didn't say any more, trying to straighten out her feelings. You do not feel anything towards Sprucepaw besides the regular friendliness between Clan members. That's all it is, and nothing more. But even though Birdpaw told herself that over and over again, she was no longer sure if it was true. She glanced over at Sprucepaw and sighed inwardly. He didn't seem to be having any trouble being around her. She had to be overreacting about nothing... Didn't she? Feeling confused and anxious, Birdpaw got to her paws, mumbled something she didn't even hear to Sprucepaw and took off across the clearing towards the apprentices' den.

[Hawkfur]

Hawkfur padded up to Goldenblaze and nodded, " Congrats Goldenblaze. A wonderful name, Goldenblaze. I hope to see you soon, right now i better go and met my apprentice." Hawkfur turned around and padded away.

Dawnpaw purred a congratulations to Goldenblaze as she passed him. Wonderful, another brave warrior to help our clan survive! she thought as she padded after Hawkfur in an attempt to see what he's up to.

Hazelpaw stared at Goldenblaze in happiness for him. Goldenblaze was brave, loyal, and such a great cat, he definitely make a great warrior. Hazelpaw stood up and padded to Goldenblaze and meowed, "Congrats...I hope your happy with your new wonderful name. Such a good one..." Then Hazelpaw yawned and padded away.

[Spruceburn]

Suddenly Birdpaw became very quiet. Had it been something he had said? Before Sprucepaw could say anything the tawny she-cat got up, mumbled something and walked away. '' What did I...? '' he mumbled to himself. The tom sighed, maybe getting Birdpaw wasn't as easy as he had thought. To lazy to get up, he rolled over to Gladepaw. '' Hey sis, you're a she-cat right? Why does Birdpaw seem all frustrated all of a sudden? '' he asked her curiously. If any she-cat could help him now, it was his faithful sister Gladepaw.

Wolfstar watched the tom with a twinkle in his eye. He purred in amusement as he saw how embarresed his daughter looked, but he could see them together as a couple. He'd just better give her the respect she deserved and service her every need, he though in his head.
