Sagekit's ear flickered with acknowledgement as to what a black berry was. The Elders loved to tell them stories about a berry that could kill even the strongest warrior if eaten. "I promise, I will never eat one." Sagekit meowed.

"Good. And if you see anyone else try to, stop them too." she warned, then finally finished srtng through. Picking up a large chunk of spoiled herbs, there was just enough left behind for Sagekit to help. Roseflight looked expectantly at the kit. All they would do was drop them off near a tree, where they can be absorbed into the ground, or even likelier, be eaten by prey. Once they were back, the calico planned for a nice game of batting around the moss with Sagekit.

Sagekit picked up the little bit of spoiled herbs Roseflight left for to pick up. She was having really fun. She enjoyed sorting the herbs and spending time with Roseflight. She was kinda sad she won't get to be a medicine cat but helping Roseflight was helping her. "This is fun." She mumbled happily to Roseflight.

The medicine cat apprentice nodded slightly in agreement, leading the way out of camp. The two she-cats walked for a awhile in silence, until they found the tree that the herbs were usually dropped off at. Once the herbs dropped out of her mouth, Roseflight was able to talk again, although there was a bitter taste in her mouth. "Race you back to camp?" she said playfully, looking down at the kit. The race would actually be fair, since Roseflight had a cripple, and Sagekit might actually have an advantage. But it would still be fun.
((OOC:sorry if it seems like im God-Modding, im just trying to move the thread along lol))

((No. Thats fine.))
Sagekit purred. "Ok. Ready, Set, ...GO!!!" She meowed then took off running as fast as her little legs would go.

Roseflight purred slightly, and started to jog awkwardly after the young kit. She was able to maintain a good pace, ignoring the throbbing that started to incase the limp. But still she was no match for the energy that was somehow bottled up in a kit's body, just waiting to be realeased. By the time she reached camp a few moments after Sagekit, her paw was in pain, throbbing harder and more intesne than before. But she acted as if nothing was wrong, maybe favoring the cripple slightly more than usual, but nothing noticable. "I'll go get the moss now." she mewed, smiling at the kit before walking over to the den.

Sagekit followed Roseflight into the medicine den. She didn't say it out loud but she saw Roseflight limp a little, she waited until she got to the den before she said something. "So what happen to your leg?" She meowed softly.

As Roseflight ripped out a chunk of moss, a frequently asked question passed by her ears. She stifled a sigh, and turned to the kit, setting the moss ball down. "This old thing?" she tried to keep a light hearted tone, lifted her crippled paw a little, seeing how it sat oddly on the earth. "When I had just became an apprentice. . . I had fallen from a tremendous hieght out of a tree. My paw took most of the impact, and that shattered the bone beyong repair. So I couldn't be a warrior anymore. . . You've heard me blundering through the forest, I would alert any pray within the entire territory. So they gave me the only job they could find. A medicine cat." The she-cat still often yearned to go on patrols when she sees them set out. But teeth and claws were no longer her trade. Herbs and healing knowledge is what she had anymore. Well, that and a fantastic clan and friends who stood behind her every step of the way. She would be nowhere without them.

Sagekit sighed and looked at Roseflight's leg. "I don't see why they would make you do that while we have a blind cat as a warrior. Its a shame that they made you give up your dream while she has her dream."

Her story is different." she meowed, picking up the mossbal and leading the way out of the den. "Although she can't see, her other senses adapt to make up for it. She can still stalk silently and make long treks while I can't. Roseflight did her best to let the kit understand as she spoke through the ball of moss. Once back in the clearing, the medicine cat apprentice gently dropped the ball, and batted it with one paw lightly.

"That still isn't right..." Sagekit mumbled to herself following Roseflight and batted at the moss with her playful paw back at Roseflight.

A small silver grey blur shot out of the nursury. It sped inbetween the two cats, crashing into the moss ball. After a flip or two, Dewkit held the green bungle between her paws, tiny claws digging in. The kit had a triumphant look on her face, like she had just taken down a badger or two. "Hi!" She finally squeaked a greeting to the other two.

"Hello." she purred laughingly to the new kit. How kits mustered such energy would never cease to amaze Roseflight. They always seemed to be ready for some adventure, or mischievous endeavor. But you could never be mad at them for long. It was like a power they had over older cats. "Now come on! Pass it over here!" she said playfully.

"Yeah. Come on, Dewkit. Past it!" Sagekit mumbled to Dewkit, standing by Roseflight.

Dewkit stuck out her tounge, but passed the moss ball over to them. The kit spun around in a circle, full of so much energy. Truth was, she had just woken up from a rather long nap and had more energy then all of StarClan. Which, in turn, made her easy to disctract. So the moment the moss left her paws, Dew started to pounce on a near by leaf.
