"That was odd..." Sagekit mumbled watching Dewkit walk away. She turned and looked at Roseflight. "Can we take a walk?"

She looked at Sagekit, wondering why the kit suddenly wanted to walk.
"Alright." she said, curiostity easy to spot in her voice. Roseflight wondered why the kit was so serious at times. Being a kit was of rmessing around, so you can be serious in the future. So why waste it?

Sagekit smiled and walked beside Roseflight. "I'm almost six moons, then I can become a apprentice." The pale blue-grey kit flicked her ears at Roseflight. "I bet your wondering why I'm not like all the other kits, right?" He gave a half serious smile and sighed. "I've always thought I was different from others around me. I'm not sure what it means but I'm really devoted to my Clan."

"That's all that matter Sagekit," Roseflight reasured her. They walked out of camp for the second time today, the sun shining through the tree leaves, seeming to dapple their pelts. "You reall should try to have a little more fun thogh. Once your kit days are gone, you can't get them back," she warned. The medicine cat apprentice wished she could run like she used to, to be able to preoccupy Sagekit better.

"But playing has never really satisfied me besides this morning with the leaves. That was kinda fun, but in Clan like I fear there really is never time for fun. Having always to watch your back and caring for the sick...Life's not very fare but there is always hope." Sagekit meowed to Roseflight.

Roseflight gave a smallnod, understanding whereth kit was coming from. She'll make a fine warrior some day, and if she keeps hat attitude, may even go on, become deputy. The medicne cat apprentice couldn't help but think how lucky that leader would be.
