Clayheart padded over to Rainfur and laid down beside the she-cat. He was taking Sleetmask's advice; he wasn't going to be stuck in the past anymore. '' Hi Rainfur, '' he meowed, '' can I share with you? '' he asked her.

"Oh sure!" she said very excitedly. She had a rush on Clayheart ever since she became a warrior. At the same time, they both bit into the rabbit that was more delicious than it looked.
She wanted to tell him about her feelings but her fear of being rejected was to great.

Sleekmask walked past Clayheart and Rainfur to get to the warriors den. She had took Gladepaw to the gorge which took a lot of energy out of her. She curled up in her nest and covered her face with her fluffy tail.

Clayheart smiled shyly as both warriors took a bite into the rabbit at the same time. He shoved it closer to Rainfur, '' Here, you can take the first bite. '' he meowed politely to her. Sleetmask walked past them, looking quite tired. '' Hi Sleetmask, '' he meowed to her but didn't say anything more. The she-cat obviously wanted some sleep. Once Rainfur had taken her bite Clayheart took his. He swallowed the rabbit then spoke, '' So how has hunting been for you, Rainfur? '' he asked the warrior, trying to start conversation.

"Thanks, Clayheart." she said as she took a bite then she pushed it back to him.
"Wow you do look tired, Sleetmask. Let me guess, Apprentice training?"

Sleekmast opened her eyes and looked up at Clayheart and Rainfur. "Hi Clayheart and yeah, Gladepaw wanted to go to see the gorge. That is a good hike but I keep worrying about her so it wore me out more." Sleekmask meowed from her nest.

Greenlily purred in amusement. "I bet Gladepaw had fun, though," she meowed, pushing into the den and circling her nest once or twice before settling down. "I've been meaning to take Hazelpaw to the gorge. He needs to see more of the territory. I should also get to work on his hunting and fighting skills. Tomorrow will be a busy day. I'm going to get some sleep so that I'm ready to deal with it." With that, she curled her tail up around her and lowered her head to her paws, her green eyes disappearing behind sleepy lids.

"Well back to our conversation Clayheart. But yeah hunting has been really good for me if you couldn't tell by our rabbit and the three plump sparrows at the freshkill pile. But there is only one problem....
I didn't catch them with the one I love...."
She paused
What are you doing?! You can't tell him!
She looked back up at him with pure love gleaming in her eyes.
"I didn't catch them with you."

Sleekmask turned away from Clayheart and Rainfur, ignoring the comment about Rainfur being in love with Clayheart. She looked at Greenlily who got into her nest. "Make sure to take care of Hazelpaw. He means alot to Clayheart." She whispered then got up walking out of the den. She wasn't going to get much sleep there.

Clayheart nodded to Greenlily, not speaking because his mouth was full of prey. His flicked his ear nervously when the former queen mentioned taking Hazelpaw to the gorge. He swallowed his prey and then spoke nervously despite his attempt to make himself seem calm, '' Th- the gorge? Isn't that... a bit dangerous? He's so young... '' Suddenly his head whipped around toward Rainfur, What? He though to himself, shocked. '' Wh- what...? '' he meowed, confused. Had Rainfur just said that she loved him? What should he do, he didn't feel the same way. '' Rainfur... '' he meowed quietly, then watched as Sleetmask got up and walked away seeming a little less than pleased. '' Sleetmask... '' Before he could say anything else she walked away, so he turned back to the she-cat he was sharing prey with, '' Rainfur... You really are a great she-cat, and you really are beautiful... But I don't like you like that. Can you please understand? '' he meowed shyly, but his eyes showed how genuine he was.

She said as she walked away,crying, out of camp into the forest.

Sleetmask stopped when she heard her name and looked back at Clayheart. She walked back to him as Snowfur ran into the forest . She looked upset, Sleekmask sighed. "I'm sorry if I ruined something between you two. I didn't mean it. I was trying to sleep, but she distracted me." She muttered looking down at her paws with her green eyes.

Clayheart stared at Sleetmask, how could she think that something was going on between Snowfur and himself. '' There isn't anything going on between Snowfur and I. Th- there's another cat... and I just don't know what to do... '' he meowed.

Another she-cat... "Do you think she's cares for you back, Clayheart?" Sleetmask asked looking up at him. Sleetmask cared very much for Clayheart, but why would he pick her over the the greater she-cats in the clan.
